Recording Artist/ Singer/ Songwriter Emcee was born, and raised on the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. Lisa Kitty Valadez is a triple threat artist being a Soulful singer/ songwriter and skilled Emcee. Lisa Kitty learned and trained to be a professional singer and dancer by her mother, and aunt Marisa. Lisa Kitty valadez comes from a musical family, her great aunt being a famous Tap Dance Choreographer Harriet Quicksand Browne. Lisa’s major influences were Jazz singers such as Billie Holliday, Nancy Wilson TaTa Vega.
Her Hiphop influences were Slick Rick, Mc Lyte , Roxanne Shante and Chicago artist TripleDarkness, Snypaz, Psychodrama, infamous Syndicate, Twista to mention a few. Lisa was label mates with Twista, snypaz, with legendary Traxter production when part of group 3rd shift. Lisa Kitty released her first solo album PrettyKiitty in 2001. on Wild wild record label with long time friend Tyson Smith.
Lisa released recent project EP titled Just a girl from Chicago that features Legendary Chicago artist such as Belo of Do or Die and Dottie Staxx. Production by Dawreck of Triple Darkness, Grammy winning producer Xcel, Mush Millions and long time producer Skagnetti. Popular songs on project are Just Gotta Have you and Can’t shake it. Lisa also has a collaborative project with music partners Tricey Larrieux and Alyze Chicago. The ladies also do a freestyle live show on Facebook.
As a spin-off of lisa last project just a girl from Chicago she holds a annual Event that brings out all Queens of music in Chicago together for a night of artistry, celebrating one another Lisa Kitty next project titled Juana is upon completion and scheduled to be released soon in Mid April.
